Lead Mobile Developer
We are looking for a Lead Mobile Developer to join a small, committed technical team at Ad Hoc Labs, makers of the Burner app. We empower people to take control over their identity and privacy by giving them fully functional, powerful, and reliable second phone numbers.
As our Lead Mobile Developer, you will be responsible for our iOS and Android apps. You will collaborate with the product team to execute UI, build new features, and maintain the current codebase. Since we are a small team, you will also have the opportunity to learn new technologies and work on all parts of our technology stack.
Strategy and development of native apps while working on an agile team and leading in-house mobile development team
Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support)
Write clean, maintainable native application code for iOS and Android
Packaging apps for deployment to App Stores
Develop the technical vision and design specifications of projects and lead in implementation.
Collaborate closely with the product team develop and iterate user interfaces and features.
Maintain current knowledge of technology landscape and emerging developments on mobile platforms
Skills + QUALIFICATIONS:
Proven work experience as a Mobile developer on iOS and Android platforms
Expertise in iOS development
Solid Experience with Android development
At least 2 released applications on the App store or the Android market
3+ years with Swift or Objective-C
3+ Java or Kotlin
Experience and interest in other software platforms and technologies
Knowledge of popular 3rd party tools and apis
Ability to diagnose problems and solve them independently
Experience working with agile teams
