Director of Growth Marketing
The Director of Growth Marketing will be responsible for leading the efforts around bringing new customers to Ad Hoc Labs’ mobile privacy products. This role will be responsible for customer acquisition across all channels, will drive brand and customer communications, will help launch new products, and will be a mission-critical part of the team that manages one of the top-grossing apps in the Apple and Google app stores (Burner). In this role you will be in a highly energized environment with one of the most creative teams in the privacy and communications space, working closely with stakeholders across business, product, analytics, design, technical, and customer support teams.
The successful candidate will be strongly quantitatively oriented and must have a strong background in mobile.
You have a strong understanding of subscription and/or recurring revenue business models in mobile for both iOS and Android.
You have at least 5 years of building out unique user acquisition and testing strategies geared at acquisition, conversion, subscription, and revenue, with significant exposure to mobile-specific tactics and tools.
You have a track record of success in developing and optimizing marketing strategies and programs that drive customer acquisition.
You understand attribution across marketing channels in order to allocate and scale spend while maintaining profitability - including qualitative & quantitative measurement and cohort analysis.
You partner with product teams to understand the full funnel and how each of your acquisition efforts impact churn and retention over time.
You are an analytical thinker who is data driven, with experience designing A/B tests and other optimizations, and working closely with analytics tools and raw data
You exhibit a strategic mindset and the ability to lead the development and cross-functional execution of effective marketing programs.
You possess strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver impactful, data-rich presentations at all levels of the organization.
You are flexible and versatile in nature, while maintaining a positive attitude and a sense of humor.
You have strong attention to detail and aim to consistently deliver projects, priorities, schedules, and deliverables with maximum efficiency.
You are willing to roll up your sleeves and take on whatever task is necessary.
You have a passion for Apple and Android products and services and have a deep familiarity with the Apple and Google ecosystem.
You will build cross-functional relationships and plans to improve performance against meaningful metrics, with a focus on experimentation and optimization.
You will collaborate with a broad range of teams, including product, engineering, operations, support, and design.
You will define the best in class metrics, get results, and ensure they are correctly measured and widely socialized.
You will develop a process of continuous improvement, analyzing the results, and iterating on marketing strategies to accomplish the best possible results.
You will optimize programs through A/B testing and develop strategic recommendations based on data-driven insights.
You will define geo-specific narratives, value propositions, and product messaging for new features and product releases.

BA/BS, MS/MA/MBA preferred
