Associate Product Manager, Mobile

We're looking for an Associate Product Manager to join Ad Hoc Labs! Working from our Los Angeles, CA headquarters, you will be a core part of a small, growth-oriented product team that develops new features for the Burner applications and web properties. From identifying initial concepts to clicking launch on high quality, highly usable features, you'll be responsible for improving a product that our users already rely on every day. This role is perfect for an early-career PM looking to make a large impact and work across platforms.

ResponsibilitieS:

  • Own end-to-end product development and delivery of data-informed, design-driven features that improve customer experience and contribute to our team’s Objectives and Key Results (OKRs)

  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to develop and understand user insights, unmet needs, behavior patterns, and growth opportunities

  • Develop and maintain user stories, business requirements, product requirements, and backlog

  • Partner with technical team to bring new products to life and ensure they meet our standards

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the company, including operations, marketing, and customer support, to deliver and communicate experiences to our customers seamlessly

  • Be a relentless advocate for our customers: their experience with our service and their privacy

SKILLS + QuALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of experience on a team responsible for designing, developing and maintaining software and/or digital experiences

  • 1+ years of experience in a product management capacity, planning, prioritizing and delivering features to live products in an agile environment

  • A passion for digital experiences and a curiosity about what’s under the hood

  • Intense drive to improve the product and company

  • Experience with data analysis and/or product analytics and experience using these tools make product decisions

  • A bias-to-action. Analysis, strategy and process is important, but you should be itching to ship new experiments, features and improvements

  • Willingness to really roll up your sleeves in a startup environment. No job is too small

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You'll be expected to communicate effectively and thoughtfully to partners and stakeholders in a variety of roles, from leadership to customer support members

Nice to haves:

  • Experience with customer research techniques across the funnel, from qualitative surveys to user testing

  • Understanding of both iOS and Android platform and their unique capabilities and guidelines

  • Proficiency in Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, or other modern design tools

  • Passion for the craft of product management and the tools, processes and tactics it encompasses

  • Self-motivated attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
